Course Description of In-House Training for Robotic Polishing or
Buffing System:
Acme Polisher Friendly:
This course covers the operation and programming of the Acme
robotic polishing and or buffing cell.
The topics discussed will be system architecture, software
backup/restore, setup, configuration and control of FANUC I/O,
operation, teaching, and troubleshooting.
In addition to presentations and demonstration, the course offers a
series of lab exercises for the student to complete. Lab exercises
relate directly to the classroom presentation and are intended to
reinforce what the student has learned through classroom activities.
Course Goal:
Upon successful completion of the course, the student can setup,
operate, debug, and program the Acme cell using the available
documentation and recommended tools and equipment.
Audience:
It is designed for engineers and technicians who are responsible
for operation, debug, and part programming for the Acme robotic cell.
Prerequisites:
Read English. Basic computer skills helpful.
