Acme Manufacturing, the leading global machine tool builder for the Medical, Aerospace, and Firearms industries, is looking to add a strongly motivated Product Manager – Medical Industry who enjoys learning and working in a fast-paced and challenging environment. We are the industry leader in providing custom-engineered flexible robotic material removal systems, servicing over 20 industries in numerous countries worldwide. The ideal candidate will join our seasoned sales team, managing the sales process for the medical industry. You’ll join our talented team of 85+ in our beautiful Auburn Hills, Michigan office and have the opportunity to work globally.

What You’ll Be Able to Do

In the role of Product Manager – Medical Industry you will be able to develop innovative robotic material removal solutions to solve customers’ manufacturing challenges. You will be responsible for managing our existing customers and have the opportunity to expand our reach within the industry.

Core Responsibilities Include

  • Developing pricing and strategy for long-term business growth and relationship development.
  • Create robust customer solutions with an ROI that supports our product offering.
  • Understanding customer process requirements is a must.
  • Evaluate the collection of information to develop an integrated solution for our customers.
  • Keep up to date by researching market trends and using that information to prepare forecasts.
  • Travel domestically and internationally in support of our customer’s needs.
  • Maintain and track CRM information.
  • Participate in trade shows and follow-ups.
  • Always be learning, always be growing.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Experience in sales in an industrial environment, with medical metal finishing background.
  • Experience in programming/servicing FANUC and ABB Robots
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
